Our two beginners Jan and Alex took part in this year’s autumn intake training with flying colours last weekend. Congratulations to Alex on his 1st yellow belt and to Jan on his 2nd white belt. Jan has thus successfully completed the Children’s Karate School.

ADRIA SEMINAR IN CROATIA
NEW BLACK BELTS
From 29.09 to 07.10 our annual Adria-Seminar took place in Croatia, Veli Lošinj. The big highlight besides training and competitions was this year’s Dan promotion, where 3 of our members were honoured.

2. FIGHT GAME DAY 2018
On Saturday, 22.09.2018, the second martial arts day of this year took place.
In addition to 15 children, we also had a visit from our masters Bernhard (III. Dan), Julika (II. Dan), Marietta (II. Dan) and Jürgen (I. Dan), who wanted to familiarise themselves with our Fighting Games Day in order to be able to open a children’s club in their region in the near future.
Together we trained, sweated and laughed – and of course gave lots of new stripes!

SUMMER CAMP IN NUREMBERG
In the first week of August, our annual summer camp took place, in which 4 of our members participated. After successful training days, there were also further successes at the tournament:

EASTER SEMINAR IN BERLIN
From 03-07 April, our annual Easter seminar took place in Berlin. The focus of this seminar is on throws, balance exercises and especially the development of speed. Emeskai karateka from all over Germany, Slovenia, Czech Republic and South Tyrol came together to train together. Finally, there was a big tournament where our participant Annalena could achieve 2nd place in Forma Quinta Set and 3rd place in Fighting Women All Category.
1. FIGHT GAME DAY 2018
Our annual spring martial arts day took place on 10.03.2018, with 15 children taking part. The children were able to demonstrate their skills in forms and competitions. There were also many games to strengthen the group community. The children brought a lot of motivation and joy and were rewarded with certificates and the awarding of stripes at the end of the day.

Berlin Open
On Saturday, 17.02.2018, 6 of our fighters took part in the annual Berlin Open. With over 1000 participants, our Emeskai Karateka were able to compete with fighters from 29 nations.
SUMMER CAMP AND GERMANY CUP
In the first week of August, our annual summer camp took place in Mainz and, in addition, the Germany Cup took place afterwards.
At the tournament on 2 August, we already achieved 2 x 1st places, 3 x 2nd places and 1 x 3rd place.
Then we said goodbye to Lukas and Dennis, both passed their 2nd yellow belt!
After two more days of training, the Germany Cup was on the agenda. There we took the following placements:
