Summer camp 2023

In the first week of August, the annual summer camp took place, this time in Aachen, which was an impressive gathering for all Emeskaier. But this year was particularly noteworthy, because for the first time since the founding of the club in Vienna, they were also represented. For one week, karatekas of all ages and skill levels came together to train together and compete in exciting matches. The atmosphere was characterized by enthusiasm, team spirit, and sporting ambition.

The event offered participants a rich variety of training opportunities, ranging from early morning sports with running workouts to technique training and relaxing regeneration exercises.

The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the tournament, where the karatekas had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills.

All in all, the annual summer camp in Aachen was a complete success. The participants return to their home clubs with new motivation and strengthened cohesion.

Spring admission training 2023

Yesterday, Saturday, June 17, 2023, the spring intake training was held for the first time in the new Rhine-Sieg region. The event was a great success and was attended by the new participants of the Bonn University Group and our beginner. The purpose of the spring intake training is to accept new members into the MSK system and to teach them the basics of karate.

It was a special pleasure that our beginner Svenja participated in the training and successfully passed her first belt exam. Svenja has learned the basics of karate in the last months and was able to deepen them together with the other participants at the training. She is now officially part of the MSK family and will continue to deepen her skills and knowledge in this discipline.

We are proud of Svenja’s achievement and look forward to the upcoming challenges and successes we will experience together.

Spring school 2023 in Alsdorf

On May 14, 2023, the long-awaited final tournament of the spring training in karate took place. After intense weeks of training and preparation, the excitement among the participants was palpable. The training provided us with a unique opportunity to improve our skills and develop within a supportive community.

The spring training was an intense time of learning and physical challenges. Under the guidance of experienced karate instructors, we were able to refine our techniques. Each day of training was filled with sweat, concentration and mutual support.

The final tournament was a success all along the line. Not only did we achieve our personal goals, but we also impressed as a group. Each of us could be proud of what we had achieved. It was a reward for all the hard work and dedication we put into the spring training.

Tournament report: Cologne Open on 06.05.2023

On May 6, 2023 an exciting karate tournament took place – the Cologne Open. Our karateka group was ready for the great challenge of competing with other talented fighters from different styles. The tournament promised not only exciting fights, but also the opportunity to develop our skills and compete with the best of the best.

The feeling of excitement and nervousness was in the air as we entered the impressive hall with a total of 6 fighting areas. The atmosphere was full of energy as the participants from the Benelux countries. It was a unique opportunity to learn and observe the different techniques and approaches of other karatekas.

We were especially proud of Frederik Schmertz, who was able to hold his own in the category Kumite male up to 67 kg and won the 3rd place.

Not only Frederik, but also the rest of our team could prove their skills at the Cologne Open in Karate. We are proud of each individual who courageously faced the challenges of the tournament. Every fight was a valuable lesson and an opportunity to grow.
