Costs
For the training at the Sportunion Wien 9, please register during training. The annual membership fee is 210 € for kids, 299 € for teenagers and adults.
The registration for the USI sports course has to be done online. The information on the current fees can be found on the website.

Trainer
Master Ass.-Prof. Dr. Marietta Zille, IV. Dan
Marietta started karate training in 2009 at MSK Berlin. In 2011, as a green belt, she started working as a karate trainer. In 2013, Marietta became FEKDA World Champion in Kumite (Sparring) Team and Vice World Champion in Kumite Individual. In 2016, Marietta received the I. Dan in Modern Sports Karate and received the Assistant Instructor (X5) license of the MSKA Dan Academy. In 2018, she received the II. Dan in Modern Sports Karate. During her three-year stay in the USA, Marietta trained at Toshindo Karate under Shuseki Shihan Donald LaMattina (Kyokushin Karate). Marietta successfully competed in regional tournaments and initially received her I. Dan in Kyokushin Karate and then in 2017 received the II. Dan as well as the title of Sensei. From 2017-2021 Marietta built up the Modern Sport Karate Club in Lübeck. Since September 2021, Marietta lives in Vienna.

Other martial arts experience
Marietta also trains in Brazilian Jiujitsu. In BJJ, Marietta placed 1st 6x, 2nd 9x and 3rd 5x in regional tournaments in 2016 and 2017 in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, USA in Gi and NoGi. Her biggest success in this was the 2nd place in NY IBJJF Open 2017 Gi in Blue Belt Lightweight category.
Further information
When Marietta isn’t doing karate or BJJ, she does research as a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Vienna where she works as an assistant professor in Pharmacology.
